NAACAM to identify opportunities for black-owned manufacturers
NAACAM has initiated a project to establish the feasibility of identifying and developing black-owned manufacturers to supply the automotive value chain.
The intent is to help strengthen the Tiered supply chain and contribute to transformation in the automotive sector, whilst assisting NAACAM members such as yourselves to improve and optimise your company’s BBBEE scorecard.
Criteria include components with relatively high logistics costs and which could be localised, components with lower production runs, assembly operations, reworking and products for the after and accessory markets.
It should take less than 15 minutes to complete the relevant parts of the survey. Please note that you are not committing yourself or your company to any project or offtake agreements. Click here for the survey
